I'd recommend the NASA site for information about eclipses, past and future:

https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse.html

If you miss the August eclipse, or even if you don't miss it (!), there is another total eclipse crossing the US (Texas to Maine) in April 2024. (Parts of Missouri are lucky enough to have totality for both.)
