Thanks to H-net at MSU for the following post:
The Michigan Stained Glass Census "Windows of the Month" for March-April, 2009, feature windows designed by Benoit Gilsoul, colors selected by Charles Z. Lawrence and fabricated in the 1960s by the Willet Stained Glass Studios of Philadelphia, PA.

I had no hand in the design I only did color selection on his stuff.
He designed that window and I am not at all sure I picked it.
I did a lot of his stuff and it was a while ago. I do have some
design work in that town in N.J. that I did at willet.

Wow, what an amazing coincidence!
Two postings, two different projects, dealing with the same designer, Benoit Gilsoul and the same color selector, Charles Z. Lawrence.
What timing!
Charlie, you do a pretty good job of color selection even when you have to pick two wrong colors.
We learned a lot.
Thanks,
Michael

I never DESIGNED on any of Gilsoul's work.
I would never be so presumptuous as to infer I did If I did I am sorry. I only selected color for many Of his designs. I loved doing it and learned a lot From his work. I only spoke to him once and He wanted To know how I could stand living in a back water like Phila. After living in THE VILLAGE. I said adversity Brought me here and adversity keeps me here, I think He understood. CZ
