Hello Everyone:
We have an entryway we need someone to bevel some glass pieces for us. There are approximately 26 of them of various lengths (3-14"); most are 1-2" wide. We thought some kind of pencil bevel using thick glass (1/2- 1") would look good. The edges need to be thin enough to be accepted into lead came.
I have attached two photos. One shows a door using this type of bevel I found in a magazine. The second is a sketch of the project with the bevels marked in yellow. There is a grid superimposed over the drawing to aid in sizing. Each small square is 1" x 1". The larger squares are 10" x 1o".
Please contact me if you do this type of custom beveling, or know of someone who does. Thanks!

Last time I looked at Dennis's web page, he was declining additional custom work. Has that changed?
I sent you an email.

AN UPDATE:
The client had a heart attack (figuratively) at the cost of the window and has backed out of the job. Kind of surprising, really, when we stuck to the agreed upon price quoted before we did the design work!
So, no beveling needed at this time. It is good to know who is out there, willing and able to do the work. Thanks all!

Bob,
Too bad the client "fell over". Design would have worked well with some 1/2 or 1 inch thick blanks for beveling. After looking at your web page, a lot of your designs would work well with a thick bevel here and there. There will always be another time to get together on a panel.
Steve, I still will take on a job here and there. These days I am just inclined to pass on more jobs than I take. It is nice to now be back to only custom work and in a small cramped corner in garage. Will leave the "production" type stuff to those inclined.
I'll leave a grinder on for you.
Dennis
