A note from Liz Perry that someone from a church they worked on some years ago is researching the studio/person that did their windows. Has anyone heard of an Anderson (artist or studio) that did work out west in the 1950's....at least in Oregon. This particular church is an Episcopal church in Coos Bay, Oregon. Thanks.
These are nice windows about 30in. x 60 in. with a figure in an aureole, but the backgrounds are particularly interesting because they are silk screened in an overall pattern on a pieces of glass about 3 in x 5 in, the design is the symbol of the window. For instance on the Crucifixion window the screen is a multi nail design pattern for each of the background pieces. Epiphany is stars, Moses the tablets etc. There are 20 windows each with a different background design.

I would love to see pictures and maybe that would jog someone's memory.

Received a note from David Schlicker in Portland. Bryce Andersen was an excellent stained glass artist here in the Portland area. He died in his 90's, four/five years ago. Gary Scrutton,
Sr., another stained glass guy, was the executer of his estate. Bryce worked for the Povey Brothers studio in his early years and then went solo. I think
that he collaborated with Albert Gerlach, Bert Willemsi and Stu Olson- all now deceased. As far as I know, there is not much information available about
him. Too bad. Thanks for the inquiry! David Schlicker
