There are a reasonable number of window illustrations in the book. I stumbled across this because it has a photo of the bottom part of the Ascension window in Second Presbyterian, Chicago, and that window was destroyed in a fire in 1900. The church has a color drawing for a preliminary design of the window but it seems no photo of the window itself. (The window was replaced after the fire by a design by William Fair Kline / Church Glass and Decorating Company.)

The author, Cecilia Waern, wrote an article about Tiffany a year or two later in International Studio. Maybe she was more of a journalist than an academic.
