Has anyone heard from/about Crosby Willet? He lives in Vero Beach, Florida, which as it turns out, is on the opposite side of the state from when the hurricaine is.....thanks!!

Crosby just called me and ALL IS WELL......the hurricane is on the other side of Florida.....he sounded good.....he just moved, and coincidentally this place has several windows by Pickel Studio, which Crosby said is very close to where he is now living.....

We are fine here at Preston Studios in Melbourne, Florida, as well (and I understand Sharon Earl Burridge is OK on Merritt island, and Stanley Klopfenstine are all OK too - among other noted glass artists here on the Space Coast).  Hope everyone in Orlando is OK as well as in Tampa, Bradenton, Sarasota, & Ft Myers... no damage to studio or home here (although property is trashed with tree limbs everywhere)....

thinking about Crosby Willet caused me to look at the Willet Hauser web site....one could take an hour, or MORE as there are many links...but this is one that I found interesting.....a design by Charlie Lawrence.....as the leading is added, it is interesting to note the use of wide lead in the panel.....don't know if that was part of the overall design element, or.....for structural purposes....perhaps Charlie can add to this...

Yeah Charlie could add to that if Charlie knew which window it was out of the many, many, many, windows he did over the last 20 or so years. Sure as hell haven't done any in resent past. I did deliver the last of the three Sussex County Trilogy, last week.
I hope it will be hung in one of the Sussex County municipal buildings by this spring of 18. The subject was the Sussex County Court House. As a youth I spent considerable time in that building, not for artistic purposes however. CZ
