Just heard from Wayne B in the UK that he inquired about the Tiffany windows that made up the now closed Chicago Tiffany exhibit out on Navy Pier.....and no one seems to know what happened to them, other than probably in storage....what a shame!! too bad they weren't donated to a certified museum....I visited them several times...

So there were two separate collections on Navy Pier. The Smith Museum closed in 2014 and the Driehaus Museum closed this year (Driehaus has a separate museum in a mansion on East Erie Street, which is still open). I'd guess that both collections are being kept intact, and hopefully they will both be exhibited again at some point. (One window from the Driehaus collection on Navy Pier ended up in their store on Navy Pier, but that seems to be closed until Spring 2018.)
