This article is almost verbatim what was said (and shown) on CBS last Sunday morning. One thing I notice that's missing is the revelation that the "Tiffany girls" had to quit if they became pregnant and that Clara herself eventually quit to have a family. Some photos of Clara's notebooks were shown and she was given credit for designing quite a few lamps.
In truth, there wasn't quite as much about process as I'd have liked, but it was generally good publicity for our craft/art.

The book about the Tiffany Girls can be purchased from the New York Historical Society for $29.95 plus shipping. Mine came to about $35 I think. Female employees of many companies during this time frame had to leave if they married, which Clara did when she first married, and then returned after the death of her husband...and then left again some years later when she married again. This was the norm back then.
