Hello AGG fellows,
My painter Matthew Fallon as asked me to post this on the AGG forum, and I wasn't sure under which forum to post it, so I will start here:

His badger brush (French manufacture...the standard black one) is suddenly shedding so much hair as to be unusable. The glue holding the hairs seems to have dried up. He also owns an antique English Hamilton badger which dates from at least the 1960s. The hairs are "rubber set" (apparently no glue) and it remains in perfect shape.

He would like to know if other painters have suffered similar experiences with their badger brush loosing hair? And more importantly, has anyone come up with a solution.

Thank you,
Roberto

I've heard it happens because of too much testosterone in the paint.....

Say Hi to Matthew for me.
