AT the end of this are several photos of stained glass, designed by Conrad Pickel in the 1950's..they are in a now-closed Catholic church in Dearborn, Michigan, and the group that purchased the closed church wants the windows removed by May , it at all possible. The windows are FREE...but...as they are about 10 feet off the ground, will need scaffolding, etc.,e tc. which will be some $$$$.

I think I showed these windows a while back, but that was when we were trying to identify them.....but they are now known, and Paul Pickel in Vero Beach, FL has the early drawings and cartoons, from his father.
The are about 10 feet across, and 14 feet high...if there is any interest, please contact me ASAP. Thanks.

An instructor who recently retired from the historic preservation program at Eastern Michigan University responded to me that a church he had once attended in Toledo, Ohio sold their windows to a Christian church in Japan.......would anyone have a thought on contacting churches in Japan or the Philippines??? Thanks.
