I just had a long and strange phone conversation with a guy claiming to want to feature a stained glass person for a national PBS segment (these are the few minutes between programs that are filled in with fun, interesting stories to get to the top of the hour and the next show). This guy questioned me about our history, whether we are interesting and unique, etc.

Then the conversation turned a little strange when he starts to ask about how much we spend a year on advertising, who our target audience is and how we reach them. He sends me to their website and shows me a whole list of prominent persons that they have featured. He finally gets around to the REAL purpose of his call when he explains that in addition to the segment they produce for PBS, I have to also agree to a corporate-image style video for $25,000! I ask him if the other prominent guys on their page (Colin Powell, Donald Trump, Steve Nash and others) had to pay, and he responded "of course not!"

So this is really just a very elaborate scheme to get you to pay for a video about yourself, with NO guarantee that PBS will take it. If you have $25,000+ in advertising dollars looking for a pocket to fill, I suppose you can contact these folks and give it to them. If you get a call from some guy pitching Martin Sheen & Breathroughs, be forewarned: There is no free lunch with these folks!

He asked if I would recommend any other artists who might "benefit" from such exposure; I declined to help him reach his sales quota.

TOTAL SCAM!! Researched and found this;
