Hello everyone !  As I write this, even the sunny south is freezing. January means Arctic air sweeps. But it also means that July is on the way. The Buffalo conference is on the way.  The third annual AGG AUCTION, to support the James C. Whitney Scholarships and other educational outreach, is ON THE WAY !
The excitement begins ! ! !  What an array of varied auction items we had last year!  Meaningful things. Useful things. Sentimental things. Creative things. Library treasures...
What can YOU donate for the Buffalo Conference live auction / silent auction? Chances are that you've already given that some thought.  I need you to contact me NOW and share that thought.
This is a huge event, and advance planning is crucial. Will you bring a small panel to be auctioned?  A book? A tool? A cartoon?  A gift certificate?
Send me an e-mail: dejavu5@earthlink.net . The auction item list  NEEDS your item. Tell me what it is !!  Actively commit !!

Can you come up with another acronym for A-U-C-T-I-O-N?   Send me that, too !!
I'm looking forward to hearing from you NOW.  Talk to me.
Thanks,
Ardra

Ardra,
I'm donating a sash of an 1850's stencil window. It's about 2' x3'. I'll send you a photo soon. [Of course, 'soon' is a relative  term]

John

Ardra,  We'll donate a few items.   One is a streaky, blown-glass vase by Fischer Glass Company in Germany, which no longer produces glass.    I'll also donate some interesting pieces of old (my father bought it in the 1960s) English Streaky Antique Glass which hasn't been produced in years.  I believe the company was Hartley Wood.

Wonderful ! ! ! !  Thank you John, Serpentino, and Vic.  I am beginning to 'see' the auction item display in Buffalo, already !!!  Thank you SO much for your donations.

Who will be next?  It is DEFINITELY not too soon to donate!   Last year we had 92 items.  Including the books Barbara Krueger has donated, we only have 76 items to go to match last year's auction ! !  ! !
