I am looking for assistance in identifying some stained glass found in the Lanier Mansion in Madison, Indiana. The Lanier Mansion was built in 1843-1844 and extensively remodeled in the 1870s and 1880s. During the late 19th century remodeling, sidelights in the main entrances were replaced with stained glass panes. The attached photos are of the transom and sidelights in the breakfast room. Although these were also added later, I believe these panes are earlier than the 1870s (except for the two bottom ones, which are 1870s panes that were removed from the main entrance sidelights and used to replace missing panes in the breakfast room). I am attempting to determine the date of manufacture of the breakfast room glass. I would appreciate any information anyone might be able to provide. I can e-mail additional photos to anyone who would like to see them.
