Recently the Michigan Stained Glass Census was asked about the Haskins Glass Studio in Rochester, NY, in business from 1907-1933.  I found they did some work at Baylor Univ. Library, and here is another....the small Episcopal chapel in Buffalo, across the street from the FLW Martin house.  I think for those of us on the AGG MOnday bus tour, there was some discussion about the window. http://www.buffaloah.com/a/jewett/96/haskins/index.html

This is where we had lunch.

Personally, I have not heard of this studio.  We are sending the query to Gail Bardhan at Corning.

Haskins Art Glass. Rochester, NY. Active: 1904 to 1950s. Firm was owned and operated by George Haskins.  The company started its history in 1890 as W.M. Page & Co., in 1893 it became Parkes, Collyer & Stacy before becoming Haskins & Collyer in 1895. In 1904 it became Haskins Art Glass. Haskins worked predominately in opalescent glass. Many of the firm’s windows are located in Upstate New York.

I have a pic of Haskins and a small list of windows in the Buffalo/Rochester area.

Gail Bardhan has emailed me a 2 page discussion of Haskins Glass.  If anyone is interested let me know and I can send it to you.  It is possible Haskins worked for Tiffany firm early on, but nothing solid to substantiate that.

However, she stated both Pike and Keck did work for Tiffany prior to moving to upstate NY to start their own firms... which I also found in the Pike history online, and in the Keck book by Cleota Reed.
