I have a question about the design challenge. Are the windows pictured in the interior photograph the same ones that we would be designing for? I assume that the five light opening groups shown on the exterior are the south facing windows? Are they also apart of the design challenge, or are we focusing just on the ones facing the trees? Dick had a good question also, What are the dimensions? If we could get a rough size that would help. I can understand it would be hard to get a height measurement but if you could get the height of the flag pole in the picture I could probably use it as a measuring stick to get a rough guesstimate. The width's of each window would be great and easy to get as well. Also, as Dick said, what is the denomination? And are they leaning toward a preferred treatment of their windows? Or a Theme? What color are the trees in the fall outside those windows? What does the stream on the floor symbolize to this congregation? Baptism at the alter? Thank You ,
P.s. What is the name of the Church? Very important to the symbolism that could be used in the windows.
Additional information about the Design Exercise windows will be forthcoming late Sunday - the participants will focus their design energies on only those windows facing the trees. The exterior photo was to give an architectural sense of the church.
